kattenoog® is Marcel and Florian from Münster. What connects us is a love of cycling and walking – and that's exactly what led to founding kattenoog®.

Münster is a city where cars don't necessarily have priority and where much more has been done for cyclists and pedestrians than in other German cities. But still: anyone out and about here in the dark knows that being seen is not a minor detail, but vital. A bike light alone isn't enough. And anything that promises extra visibility usually looks like construction site clothing. That's exactly what we wanted to change – with a reflective sash that combines safety and style.

Made in the region. Every sash is assembled and sewn in regional workshops for people with disabilities – with short distances and real local value creation.

Why kattenoog®? The name comes from Dutch and Low German and means “cat's eye” – a synonym for reflection and visibility.
