Does the sash give me the same good feeling as a hi-vis vest?
Yes – that’s exactly what it’s made for. Throw the sash on and you know: I’m being seen. The reflective surface exceeds the EN ISO 20471 safety standard by more than 50 % – and your outfit stays just as it is.
Isn’t my bike light enough?
Your light shows that a bike is coming. Reflective surfaces on your body show that there’s a person – even when you get off, push your bike, walk the dog or your light can’t be seen from the side. With reflective material you are recognised from around 140 metres, in dark clothing only from around 25 metres.
Does it fit over a thick winter coat or with a backpack?
Yes. The length is adjustable – the sash fits over your winter coat, with a backpack and just as well with your summer outfit. It’s on in seconds, doesn’t flap and has no Velcro to damage your clothes. The sash is recommended for people from 1.60 m (5 ft 3 in) tall.
How safe is the sash really?
Our reflective sash exceeds the EN ISO 20471 safety standard by more than 50 % and reflects over 500 candela per lux. The reflective surface is up to 10× larger than on standard reflective bands. The extension is designed to meet DIN EN 17353:2020-11 B3.
What does shipping cost – and can I return it?
Within Germany shipping costs €2.80 and is free from €50. To other EU countries shipping costs €13.99, to all other countries €19.99. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal; you pay the cost of returning the goods. See our withdrawal policy for details.
Sash or sash with extension?
The sash on its own already makes you clearly visible. With the extension you are visible all around – from the front, back and side – and the sash sits with extra hold, ideal for runners. You can also buy the extension later and clip it on in seconds with a carabiner.
Do the coloured plastic parts glow? When will they arrive?
No. Pink, yellow and blue are a colour accent for your look – visibility comes from the reflective band, the colour doesn’t change that. Variants with coloured plastic parts ship mid-November.
Why does it cost more than a reflective band for a few euros?
Because you get more: up to 10× more reflective surface, an Oeko-Tex 100 strap and replaceable components instead of a throwaway product – assembled and sewn in regional sheltered workshops in Germany. A sash you wear for a long time instead of a band that disappears in a drawer.
Can I extend my sash later?
Yes. All components are interchangeable and can be added later. The extension for 360° visibility is already available, LED modules are in the works.

In Germany. The sash is assembled and sewn in regional sheltered workshops for people with disabilities – short transport routes and regional value creation.
